The Whole 9 – A Rally to Support HB 104 – Will Take Place on May 10th at Legislative Mall in Dover

The Whole 9 Rally participants will gather on May 10, 2018, at Legislative Mall in Dover to make their voices heard on an important issue: the need to fully fund services for Delawareans with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Participants will gather to tell Governor Carney and the General Assembly that the time is now to pass House Bill 104, and request that a funding increase is not “one and done.” Funding should be consistent year after year until services are fully funded.

The Whole 9 represents the minimum of $9 million in state funding that will be accepted for first-year funding of HB 104. This will ensure an adequate and meaningful start to bringing the developmental disability service system to full funding. $9 million – and the passage of HB 104 – is what is required for real, measurable change this year. It’s what the people served by A.N.D.’s providers deserve.
