Developmental Disability Committee
Chair: Melinda South, Director, Bancroft Delaware
The Developmental Disability Committee (DDC) provides an opportunity for residential and day service provider members to address issues, problems, resources and programs in the developmental and intellectual disability service community.
DDC members and A.N.D. leadership develop strategies and responses to state and federal issues that affect how providers can offer services. DDC members are also active in the legislative hall in Dover, advocating for the rights of their clients and for adequate funding for their services.
The DDC meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. at Easter Seals of Delaware and Maryland’s Eastern Shore, New Castle location. If you are an A.N.D. member and would like to be included in DDC correspondence, please contact Carolyn Petrak, A.N.D. Associate Executive Director.
