Contact Members of Congress on the National Council for Behavioral Health Hill Day Priorities

Contact Members of Congress on the Overtime Rule
Effective December 1st, 2016 the minimum salary required for the executive, administrative, and professional (EAP) overtime exemption will increase from $455 a week or $23,660 annually to $913 a week or $47,476 annually. While the Department of Labor won’t be enforcing this new minimum salary for the EAP exemption for residential agencies that serve people in settings that have 15 beds or fewer, employees could still bring action against the agencies. It is anticipated that this will have an adverse effect on all nonprofit organizations. You can support congressional action to overturn this rule ( H.R. 4773 / S.2707) here.
